Minimal, reliable and effective
Reasonably priced and simple VoIP apps are rare and this one fits the bill nicely. It works, it has proved reliable and has the nice touch of linking with the Mac address book. I do find the lack of a keypad is a problem, not for dialling (as typing the number is fine) but for dealing with the “Press 1 for this, press 2 for that, press 3 for…” demands of typical large companies. I have resorted to using a web-based DTMF dialler with the volume turned up as a workaround but this is not ideal.
No eye candy which is unusual for Mac apps but function is more important and this app is certainly that.
Simple and effective
This is an application which does one thing very effectively, make & receive SIP calls. It integrates with my VOIP provider seemlessly and gets out of the way until I need to use it. I haven't found anything better, can you make an iOS version please?
My only issue with the software is the subscription, I would like to pay for the application to show my support but I simply won't keep paying for subscription software. One off payment or not at all.
I Love It!
I have used this app for years with my Soho66 virtual phone numbers. I now also have it set up with our Avaya IP Office switch and it works flawlessly.
